These red solder sleeve wire connectors are sized for 0.5–1.0 mm² (22–18 AWG) wire. The heat-shrink sleeve and solder ring make a neat option for joining compatible low-voltage wiring without adding a bulky connector.
Use a heat source with care, keep the wire still while the solder cools, and give the joint a gentle pull test afterwards. They are a practical bench-stock item for repairs, cable extensions and project looms.
